STOP LISTENING

Stop Listening is a production company launched in 2024 by Leo Pichardo and Layssa Bencosme. It holds as its mission to tell the stories of Latin-American women and girls of the next generation and their experiences. Offering an alternative perspective to the status quo narratives often presented abroad. Among their first projects are the feature films “Somebody Killed Something” (SKS) and “She Doesn’t Sleep” both in the development stage. SKS has participated in the Sundance Collab screenwriting lab, and is currently in competition for the FonProCine Fund national competition. The production company hopes to expand in the coming years to fully produce both features, and develop animation and interactive media projects.
